It helps detect conditions such as bowel obstructions, kidney stones, perforations, swallowed objects, or abnormal gas patterns. The procedure is non-invasive and generally takes around 10–15 minutes. You may be asked to lie on your back or side during the scan. In some cases, preparation like fasting may be required—our staff will inform you in advance. Radiation exposure is minimal, but it’s important to notify our team if you’re pregnant.
